Schweitzer Chapel is a mountain lodging retreat and place of worship for Christian youth groups and organizations at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho. Schweitzer Chapel provides a great place of Christian worship for the people of Schweitzer Mountain, a retreat for Christian youth groups and a wonderful meeting place as well as lodging for Christian organizations, available throughout the year.
Beginning Dec 31, 2022 we will be holding weekly services on Saturdays at the Chapel through the ski season.

Jim Singleton has recently moved back to Spokane after completing 10 years of teaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, near Boston. He was the Associate Professor of Pastoral Leadership and Evangelism. He works half-time for Leighton Ford Ministries, coaching and discipling pastors.
Prior to seminary teaching, Jim pastored congregations in Colorado Springs, Austin, and San Antonio, TX, and Spokane, Washington. Jim did his undergraduate work at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He began his seminary training at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts, and concluded in 1983 at Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. He also has a doctoral degree in Church History from Boston University School of Theology.
Jim is married to a recently retired PCUSA pastor, Sara Singleton, who served at Old South Presbyterian Church in Newburyport, MA. Jim and Sara have two grown children and three grandchildren, one of whom (Hunter) they recently adopted.
